Our Aims

To enable former members of Wells Cathedral School to keep in touch with the activities and achievements of the School.
To provide a medium through which former members of the School can keep in touch with each other.
To support the School in the furtherance of its aims and objectives.

How do we achieve our Aims ?

By social events
The main events of the Association include an annual Dinner held at Wells at the end of the School summer term, and an annual Dinner held in London in the winter.

By our regular Newsletters
Twice a year (March and September) the Association produces a newsletter which contains our news, information on future events, and "jottings" from members with updates on what they are now doing. The Headmaster's annual report on the School is produced in the Autumn newsletter and is an important avenue for keeping members up to date with the School.

Through our "Projects"
We sponsor certain annual scholastic and sporting prizes and also make regular donations to the School; donations in the past have included drinking fountains, Library carpet, cricket sight screens and covers, the Careers Office etc. Details of our recent projects can be found here.

Membership Database
Our one and only tool to help keep our members in touch with each other and with the news of the School is our database of addresses.
